It's easy to do this but the down side is that your database has to be down.

Should i stop the database before proceeding the steps given by you?????

Daniel, Split_Part () function only returns the single value in a string present in the given position. But what if i want to split all the data (separated with a delimiter) in a string to be appear in multiple rows? Eg: Select Split_Part('Raj|Skwa|vertica|database','|',2) Result is : Skwa But i wan...
