Hi,

As we are having sql jobs in MS Sql Server,

How to implement such concept(Schedulers) in vertica database.

Eg: Running a script on some intervals of time. i.e, once in a day or once in a week

Hi Vittalkini,

Vertica doesnt support Stored procedures, Triggers , Packages.

You can only transfer the database objects like Tables and Views from MSSQL to Vertica.

Hi Adrian.Opera, I observed that , you haven't used the Alias names for any of the tables you used in the query. But i think, it is better to use the Alias names, as it reduces the code length. Please let me know , if there is any advantage of not using the alias names for the tables. Thank you, Raj..
