How do I set the default time zone for every new ODBC connection when the timezone we want in the session is different than the default database timezone?

Which version of Toad works with Vertica? I can't find a version on Quest Software's site that appears to be specifically for Vertica. Thanks.

CLOB and BLOB support
Does Vertica support the CLOB and BLOB data types like in Oracle? I have several tables in an Oracle database with these data types and I'd like to copy them into Vertica.
