We recently upgraded our DEV vertica database from 6.0 to 7.1. After some trial and error and some help from HP Vertica, we followed all the upgrade steps from 6.0 to 6.1, 6.1 to 7.0 and 7.0 to 7.1. We also applied the latest hotfix. However, in testing our production processing against our DEV environment, the processing times are significantly slower, almost double the timings. We actually have one process that updates about 8 million records that will not run at all. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Or have any idea of where to start looking for the cause?
Your help is much appreciated!!

Re: Upgrade 6.0 to 7.1 - database is slower
This seems odd. Maybe you should create a new comprehensive database design? Then create and query specific projections passing your queries into DBD.
