Hi,
The \s command lists all the commands in my vsql history. How can I erase the history?
Thank you

Just delete or rename the history file: ~/.vsql_history

Cool, thanks again Jim!
So, is there a separate history file for each user? Is it possible to just have a general one for all users? Just curious.

Hi hopewell,
Yes there can be separate history file if you configure to run Vertica in other user (other that dbadmin).
As of my knowledge it is not possible to have a general one for all users.

Each user that can access Vertica locally it will have its own .vsql_history file in his home directory.hopewell wrote:Cool, thanks again Jim!
