Should we enable NUMA in the BIOS?
What is the recommendation on enabling NUMA in the BIOS? Does anyone have any experience with systems where this is enabled or disabled, especially where servers have 512GB+ of RAM?

What's the relationship between Vertica and NUMA?typical recommendation is to switch off NUMA in the BIOS.

Hi,
The following link has documentation for the HP ProLiant Gen9 server. It states the following about Node Interleaving:

And here is a link to a "Vertica Developer Community" post that may help:Use this option to enable or disable NUMA node interleaving. Typically, you can obtain optimum performance on NUMA nodes by leaving this option disabled (the default setting). When this option is enabled, memory addresses are interleaved across the memory installed for each processor and some workloads might experience improved performance.
IMPORTANT: Enabling Node Interleaving can impact operating system performance.
