Hi,
I am trying to load tables in Vertica through Informatica.
Some of my records are rejected due to special/foreign language character data.
I am using UTF-8 code page for source/target relational connection.
session failed as the row rejected due to bad data.
sample reject data "CONGȂEC CAPITAL LTȅ"
Thanks,
Jagadeesh

Hi,
Are you loading files that are in Linux? If so, try running the file command on them to verify that they are indeed UTF-8 encoded!

Re: Bad Row due to Special / Foreign Characters
Thanks Knicely, but i am extracting data directly from a Database.
I have my relational connection(ODBC) for source and Target(vertica) code page as UTF-8.
