Database Designer - select schema

Post by Ivy » Sat Jun 08, 2013 10:55 am

Hi, I created a schema and attempted to use the database designer to improve my design. However, after I chose "Comprehensive," it would not let me select my schema. It appears that only certain schemas could be picked. Are there any rules on using comprehensive designer type?

Here is what I found.

It has been an issue using admintools through terminal emulation clients like putty. If the designer is running from within a terminal emulation, and there are more than 10 items, and it will scroll to an item > offscreen, the mouse no longer works on selecting items but spacebar does. The solution is to use arror keys to navigate to desired schema and press space bar to select it.
