vertica installation in Ubuntu 12 VM

when i tried to install the vertica_7.0.2-1_amd64.deb package in my Ubuntu VM, it gave error at end as below. Any help in troubleshooting this and get the installation success? Thanks in advance for any input you could provide...

its a vm created from standard ubuntu 12 version distribution. may be i could try with earlier vertica version to see if i get the same error. could you please post link for vertica version 6 as myvertica page shows only latest version download?
