Warning! Tool 'check_spread' has been deprecated.

Hi guys,

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

With 7.0 it seems that the admintools check_spread option has been depreciated. What is the best way to check if the spread software is up and running now?

It also appears that the /etc/init.d/spreadd file is no longer available even though the 7.0 Admin Guide refers to many, many times! So we can't check the status using /etc/init.d/spreadd status command either.
